The two nearby elementary schools inspired the Jack and the Beanstalk idea and the use of the children's wagons. Standing within these three sprouting beans, the viewer can look up at the sprout leaves made from little red wagons. The sculpture is on the hill across from the playground area, clearly visible from the road. Its canopy is gently illuminated by six floodlights at night.
