4000 feet of salvaged fire sprinkler pipe

The serpent-like sculpture represents an underground river of pipe surfacing three times before it swells up to a 26 foot tall wave, which appears to spill into the Arizona Canal nearby. The 4000 feet of fire sprinkler pipe was salvaged by American Metals in Mesa.
Industrial Pipe Wave was named 2022's "Best Permanent Public Art" by the Phoenix New Times Best of Phoenix poll.
