The inspiration for this sculpture came from a story in Christopher's family. "My great grandfather made it half way through a hurricane in Cuba before he and his family ran, during the eye of the storm, to the stone church. After the storm the whole town had been leveled...my great grandfather with his medical training set bones and stitched people up and was awarded a medal from the President of Cuba."
