Albuquerque, NM
2003

Inspired by Durango's historic mining sluices and the underground passages of a nearby brothel. Hundred year old rough-ripped pine boards joined by an oxidized steel frame form the legs of a caterpillar, climbing up a wall. Originally displayed inside Albuquerque's museum, the piece was relocated to the exterior of the art department at Birmingham Southern College. Also this piece was in a show in Boone, NC and was climbing up a wall in St. Louis for a while.
