Baboon Walking Trees

During the site study at the Asheboro Zoo in NC, one of the baboon handlers pointed out that the baboons needed another climbing structure. Christopher had an idea for an upside-down walking tree, and a sculpture was born. Christopher wanted to pull the viewers in, to get them to empathize more with the baboons, so he put a large section of the walking trees out in the viewing area with the people.
